A new nebula has been identified at Fibre Arts Bootcamp and has officially been named Dyed-in-the-Locks Alpaca. This is just one in a series of colourful creations emerging from the giant dye pot on the stove. It’s not often that we dye fiber in-the-locks, since carding causes the colours to blend. However, instead of using the drum carder, a blending board offers more control over the colours and the effect is significantly different than dyeing the completed yarn.
